ultrasound

I got to take a sneak peak at our little bean today dancing around and shaking its little arm and leg nubs. From crown to rumpus she? he? is about an inch long. In the last few weeks beanie baby has grown from a lentil to a chickpea.

Yummy / At least for Meila. Anya was expecting some good laughs after giving Meila the grosest flavors yet she acted like candy is candy give me more now.

For the past 2 weeks

My goodness gracious! What an amazing 2 weeks it has been. I was just so busy sleeping, throwing up and eating everything in sight that I was too busy to update my blog, brush my hair, get out of my pajamas, do laundry- you get the picture.
I think (knock on wood) I am actually starting to get over the morning sickness. Though I am skeptical as from past experiences I am used to it lingering until the 6th month.
While we are still on the vomit subject let me tell you about the Bertie Bott Beans Anya bought. For those who do not keep up with the Harry Potter books Bertie Botts are jelly beans of every flavor. Including booger, black pepper, ear wax and sardine. There are also other not so horrible flavors like toasted marshmallow, lemon drop and cherry. I being the adventurous soul I am decided to try one of the new flavors spaghetti. One nibble and I did not taste much another and I was thinking that it was sorta weak in flavor when it hit me. Vomit!!!! I was eating a vomit flavored jelly bean and it was stuck in my teeth. Anya and her friend Neka thought it was hilarious as I gagged and tried to rinse my mouth out with water. As gross as it was I still think it is really quite amazing that you can make a piece of candy taste like vomit.

Let the Vomit Fest Begin

In other words I'm pregnant. Yes, I must be insane to actually want to go through this thing again. But think of all the cute maternity clothes I will get to wear and what about getting to be poked and prodded in that region at least once a month and I shouldn't forget about the horse pilled prenatal vitamins, having to pee every 20 minutes, sore boobs and my favorite pastime of all throwing up 10 times a day. . Yeehaw- What a fun ride pregnancy is. Okay I will cut the sarcasm for a minute and tell you that the best thing about being pregnant is that I'm pregnant. Really though it is the perfect excuse for absolutely everything. So what, I didn't get out of bed till 10- I'm pregnant. The house is a mess and I am still in my pajamas 3 days straight- I'm pregnant. I'm bitchy , cranky, moody, and irrational- I'm pregnant.
