I got a MIRENA IUD yesterday. That means no more babies for 5 years. If I knew how much the procedure was going to totally suck I would of never of gotten it.
I could of dealt with it better if I was drugged up but no such luck. I mean it was really awful. I am so glad it's done but when 5 years is up it sure ain't happening again.
The dr's, nurses and the info video seemed to make it like it was a simple, quick, uncomfortable but painless experience .
You would think that after seeing your patient curled up in a fetal position with tears streaming down her face 1/2 hour after the assault on her cervix that prescribing something stronger than ibprofin would be in line.. Apparently my doctors would rather treat me like I'm ridiculous than to grace me with their lovely signature for a few pain pills to help me get through the night. Aren't pain pills for people in pain? Hello ?? Yes I am in lots of pain!!! I am calling your office after hours because I am in so much pain. Not like crampy I have my period pain. Like hello I am having a baby kind of pain!

Yeah I got through it but I am very bitter. I would of gone to the emergency room last night if it weren't for a friend, the six beers and some other stuff that helped me through it.

So they think that it's okay to slaughter the cows that they sell? Is it just because the lobsters are getting killed in store that they are banning their sale? It's like we can't let people feel that their food came from an actual animal. Package it up in pretty cellophane make sure to wrap it with a bow.

Dear Whole Foods,

You are being a bit ridiculous with this lobster thing. And on that note your produce is WAAAY overpriced. $14 for 2 small bunches of non-organic grapes?
