she really was a xmas baby

Ailee Simone was born on xmas day at 11:54 am. She is my littlest yet weighing in at 6lbs 12 oz, 20 3/4 inches. More to come later.

Nesting

I totally thought I was going into labor just a few days ago. I woke up with mild contractions which have been happening throughout my pregnancy - no big deal. But then they got a lot stronger and close together and timeable. While trying to breathe through the pain I started freaking out. The laundry! The dishes! I don't have my bag packed, the bedding needs to be washed, the house mopped, my legs shaved. How could I go through the embarrassment of going into labor with hairy legs. I think the panic attack halted the contractions so that I could get busy. I am willing this baby to stay in till the nest is ready and until I tackle the not so easily done while pregnant, task of shaving legs. Which incidentally is still not done. Maybe Bryan will help???
